A regular photography tutor, Raymond regularly holds numerous workshops and diploma courses - his students describe his classes as both pragmatic and inspirational. He loves to share his photography experiences with people and leads many workshops in range of diverse photography topics. Raymond actively works to contribute his knowledge to the photography community as a tutor of “Professional Diploma in Digital Portrait Photography” since 2007 and lighting workshops since 2009.

RAYMOND KAM

Professional Commercial and Portrait Photographer

I wake up every morning yearning to create something new. Something that evokes creativity and emotion. Something that provokes thinking and expression. It is to infuse photography with new elements and ideas that makes me look forward for my new assignment everyday.

I have been in photography over 20 years and I still feel the same way when I took up my first camera. The passion for meeting someone new and to learn and share experiences in life. I believe that only through communication, we can create something truly unique and meaningful.

It is with these in mind that I often engage in courses and workshops. To meet someone I have never met before. To share stories and if possible, to collaborate something new. There are many stories in life and isn’t it beautiful if we can capture some of them in a frame?

I am Raymond Kam and I am a photographer.

充滿好奇的我喜歡接受不同和新的挑戰，不希望今天的拍攝跟昨天一樣，無論在技術層面或是感情層面，每一次拍攝都希望增加變化和多樣性，加入更多不同的元素，灌輸更多情感，這樣才驅使我繼續進步，維持我對攝影的新鮮感和熱誠，所以我選擇了充滿挑戰，千變萬化的商業攝影項目，曾經為多個品牌和企業拍攝廣告、大型海報、演唱會/晚宴、商業人像、個人和家庭照...等等，範圍甚廣，只要我能用影像說出他們的故事，題材和範圍不應有限制，因為喜愛，所以投入。

我在這個行業打滾了十多個年頭，除了商業拍攝外，個人創作也不曾間斷，因為對攝影的熱誠，驅使我走得更前，跑得更遠。我是商業及人像攝影師金永峯Raymond Kam，溝通是成功的關鍵，我喜歡人與人之間的互動，喜歡用畫面講故事，喜歡將感覺注入影像。

攝影教學佔我人生很大的比重，希望能夠用我燃燒着的熱力和生命，感染更多喜愛攝影的人，讓他們能夠享受攝影的樂趣。影像的主題、角度和內容都反映了攝影師的人生觀和價值觀，改變了角度，人生可以活得更精彩，希望可以用攝影去影響生命，將愛和熱誠傳遞開去。
